Hearing Impaired
Priya is hearing impaired by birth. She is raised by a single parent with a lot of hardships and becomes independent financially
- Raised by a single mother, Priya was born deaf. Financial constraints and her disability led her mother to almost give up on her education, but with her brother’s encouragement, Priya completed her 12th standard at a school for the deaf.
- Priya joined BTGT through our mobilization campaign and quickly became one of the most active participants. After completing her skill training, she was placed at KFC, where her enthusiasm impressed her team. Her family is proud of her independence, and Priya shares, “I am happy that I can live my life without others’ pity.
- Priya now plans to pursue her graduation while continuing to work, proving that she is defined by her abilities, not her disability.

Suraj Bahadur
Story of Youth Empowerment through Guidance and Counseling.
He knows the importance of keep on learning and has plans to continue the next level of his education along with job and to be on the growth path.
- Despite completing his senior secondary education, Suraj was reluctant to take up a job, holding certain notions about society and work. His father, a labourer, bore the financial burden for the family, while Suraj spent his time aimlessly, worrying his family about his future.
- After enrolling in BTGT’s skill training program, Suraj gained essential skills in communication, computer operations, and customer service. He was hired by Café Coffee Day, and later promoted to Casa Bela Vesta, now earning Rs.18,000 plus incentives. He has been recognized as a star employee twice and contributes to his family’s finances.
- Suraj plans to continue his education and improve his skills to stay on the path of growth, while contributing to his family’s well-being.

Bhagwan Dass
Story of Youth Empowerment through Guidance and Counseling.
Bhagwan dass is from an economically weaker section family ,who broke his shell of fear, hopelessness and poverty and turned into a shining star
- Despite completing his senior secondary education, Bhagwan struggled with poor communication skills and fear of public speaking, which hindered his job prospects. Determined to help his family, he enrolled in BTGT’s four-month skill training program, where he learned computer skills, communication, and mental resilience.
- Bhagwan secured his first job as an Office Admin and later advanced to an MIS Executive at Axis Bank, now earning Rs. 25,000 with incentives. He credits BTGT for transforming his confidence and ability to support his family.
- After securing his job, Bhagwan completed his graduation and is looking forward to more opportunities, committed to a better future.

Gurudev Shah
The true story of Youth empowerment from job to entrepreneurship and reverse migration
Gurudev Shah, a city migrant who was full of potential-just needed a spark to shine.
- Gurudev, a graduate from Bihar, moved to Chandigarh with his family in search of better opportunities. As the only son, he was determined to support his parents but lacked the skills and confidence to start his career.
- Gurudev joined BTGT’s training program, where he improved his communication skills and gained confidence. After completing the program, he secured a job at Concentrix, earning Rs. 17,000 per month. With this job, he was able to support his family while living in his hometown. After two years of work experience, he returned to Bihar and started his own business, earning over Rs. 25,000 per month.
- Gurudev now runs a successful Common Service Centre (CSC) and an LIC agency. He plans to expand his business and pursue further education, staying connected to his roots while building a better future.
